I'm currently pursuing a Computer Science Master's degree at Brown University, focusing on Human Computer Interaction. I've recently graduated from Boston University with a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Visual Arts.
My CS experience allows me to estimate the development time and better decide which design is the most practical, or code-able in the given time constraints.
When some problems can't be fundamentally solved by improving the User Interface, I know how to push the limit of the technology by suggesting possible algorithms.
For web design, my solid HTML+CSS+React skill allows me to create hi-fi with pseudocode, which saves time for developers.
It also allows me to design new features by creating new functions in the code.
As a team player, I can be the communication bridge between departments.

I found my passion in UX design and frontend engineering in my junior year when I worked on the PickaCourse project with my friends. It took me a long time to realize what I really want (I was this close 🤏🏻 to drop CS) because BU doesn't really offer many front-end related courses. So, I came to Brown to continue my journey in CS and UX Design!
When working with Figma or React, I can spend 24/7 in front of the computer and never get tired of it. I love to see my design actually solved the problem, and I feel proud of myself if I can actually implement them.
So far, I've taken UIUX, Web Design and Programming, Design Principle, Experience Design, Data Science, Android Application Development, and Software Engineering. I'm looking forward to taking the Human Computer Interaction Seminar next semester!
